Best part: The absolute BEAUTIFUL display of forgiveness and grace! I needed this reminder.

His pastor liked to say that the church wasn’t about helping sick people become well. It was about bringing dead people to life. Every single one of them was dead except for Christ."
Thoughts: This book was exactly what my soul needed when it needed it. Gen struggles with addiction- and I have felt this in my own life with alcohol addiction- and finding God's grace, redemption, and peace in overcoming addiction was powerful. Reading Gen's journey brought me to tears. I am so thankful for His mercy. For his redemption power. That His blood washes us clean and by His stripes we are healed... even from addiction!
